Hi, I’m Georgie, founder of Brum Driving School. I am a fully qualified DVSA approved female driving instructor and am also DBS checked. I would love to welcome you to learn to drive with Brum Driving School.
As an experienced female driving instructor, my approach to driving lessons is to create a fun, supportive learning environment where each and every pupil can develop at their own pace and in their own style. I endeavour to support you in learning in your own style, in your own way – a client-centred approach. This not only helps you to make progress that works with your learning style, but also makes learning to drive fun!
I enjoy seeing pupils develop as their lessons progress and they grow into confident and independent drivers. I have a patient approach and welcome pupils who may be nervous or anxious about learning to drive, offering a kind, and understanding environment which will help you to feel calm and in control of your driving experience.
Choosing a female driving instructor
Learning to drive will mean being in a small space with your instructor for a number of hours. According to the DVSA, the average number of professional driving lessons taken to pass the driving test is 45, so choosing the right driving instructor is important. You will need to be able to relax in the learning environment and deciding between a male or a female driving instructor is an important consideration for some learner drivers. Many of my pupils choose to learn with a female driving instructor, whether that is because of religious or cultural reasons, feeling comfortable and safe with a female driving instructor, or simply down to personal preference. What matters most is creating an environment where you can enjoy learning to drive.
